If You Want To Make Money, You Must First Gain The Knowledge???

Money is the source in which our lives are cushioned upon. Without money our lives wouldn't be as sustaining and glamorous as many tend to shoot for.

Many times people think that when they graduate from Beauty School their lives will change. They are now schooled in a career in which is going to provide them with money, luxoury and the good life...THAT IS SO WRONG!!!!

Just like any career, in order to make money in this business it requires knowledge and a lot of hard work. In the beauty business its a lot harder than any other careers. In this industry knowledge on how to do hair, skin and nails well requires the knowledge of different areas in which we must be educated in, in order to serve the client well. Hair coloring, hair cutting, perming, diseases, disorders, bacteriology, acurcy, speed, good hand cordination, good manners and a good educated mouth will make you go to the top of this industry. Without it you will fail

1. Knowledge.

You may know how to cut, perm and color hair correctly before you jump into this business. If you do not have the knowledge to correct a color, to fix a bad hair cut and to properly work and style a perm...you are doomed from the start. This knowledge is learned through the years and by further educating yourself with a good eye in learning by other people's mistakes, you may succeed. In this business constant education in hair, skin and nails will make you grow in knowledge in this industry.

2. Disorders and Diseases

The knowledge in identifying diseases, disorders and all sorts of hair, skin & nail bacteria on a client can prevent you from experiencing a catatstrophe within your business. Being knowledgable in this area will allow you to pin point why your client has thining hair, why her hair is damaged, why it has turned white at a young age, why the clients white hair is yellow or brassy, why her skin is yellow, why her nails are brittle, curvy, shedding, falling off, yellow, hard or soft; and why you must refuse to do that clients hair.

Many new hair dressers feel that after beauty school they do not need this knowledge and let me tell you...they are wrong. Until the day you retire from this business YOU MUST BE KNOWLEDGABLE IN THIS AREA just like all the other areas in this business.

This knowledge will save your business, it will retain your clients in your salon and your clients will see you in a better light than before.

3. Speed & Acuracy

Speed and acuracy is aquired through time and it is an important part of this industry. Attending a client as soon as they arrive and getting them done before your next client walks in will flourish your business. Clients have a busy life and by allowing them to feel confident in knowing you are going to take care of them right away will make them come back to you.

Proper speed, acuracy, knowledge, good hairdressing ediquete and the desire to reach the top in this industry comes from the passion you have in your heart to do this job well and the best you can.

Passion drives any business and person to succeed in life filled with comfort and money.
