Before you start your eye makeup, you should first shape out your eyelids. You should with the help of flat brush apply the light colours like blue or whatever other colour that you are using for the occasion, and spread from your inner corner to the outer corner. With the same brush you should use a lighter colour for your eyelids to make them shine. You should blend the colours well to make them look softer. After that, you apply the mascara for thick and long eyelashes.
To make your cheeks appear of natural colour you can apply a face powder of a light pink colour and massage it gently. After you are done with your cheeks and foundation, then you should leave this for at least five minutes for drying all this. To make your eye makeup match with your lipstick, you should choose the one that gives you a natural look and shows your natural complexion. You should first moisten your lips before applying lipstick to make them soft. Choose a lip-liner which matches with the colour of your lipstick or is closest to it in colour.
After all this makeup, see yourself in the mirror and tell whether your facial makeup is matching the colour of your neck. If you have been able to achieve the same colour for both, then your makeup has been successful. If the colours happen not to match then you should try to match them as much as possible for you. So, in this way your daytime makeup would be complete and you would be ready for your daytime event.
