WHY LIPSTICK?

Lipstick is very essential to us women, because it compliments our face, provides an alluring touch to our appearance and it makes us look younger, desirable and sexy.

What lipstick to pick? It depends on a combination of things starting with the color of your skin, your hair, the choice of your outfit. It’s best to choose a color that complements the natural shade of your lips and skin. Shades of plums, wines and deep reds flatter dark skin tones, while light-browns, beiges with pink or orange undertones complement lighter skin tones. Olive skin looks good with brownish reds, light browns and raisin shades of lipstick.

Keep colors lighter for daytime and darker for night. Matte and cream finishes offer a subtler daytime look, while a high-gloss finish adds glamour for evening.
Choose medium tones like pinks, peaches and beiges with orange or pink undertones if you have light hair and skin.

Try medium tones with richer colors, like caramel or deep pink, if you have dark hair and light skin.

Try any color if you have medium skin and hair (though anything will look good, stick to lighter shades to bring out your rich skin).

Wear plum or wine lipstick if you have dark skin

Go crazy! Go red! Red lipstick is the most sensual lipstick color. But there is a fine line between looking cheep and looking classy. Yes, it is a universal standard and has always been the hallmark of glamour. And even today all the top  celebrities are seen wearing red lipstick, it has inspired many women to opt for red . Many women still assume that they can’t wear red lipstick. However, they may be wrong, let’s see how…
The secret lies in your skin tone: The fairer the skin tone is, the bolder red it will pop. When applying red lipstick, go light on your blush and eyes, or else you might end up looking like a clown. Apply only mascara and ditch your eyeliner. Brunettes can go for black mascara, while redheads and blondes should go for brown. Use a soft blush over your cheeks and dust face with powder.
Choosing a different color lipstick may change your entire look. Here is a few examples of it:

Red lipstick + red dress. This look will draw attention to your lips and curves of your body, will definitely make heads turn when walking into a room. Great “going out” look.

Light lipstick or lip gloss + bolder eye make up.This look will make your eyes pop. Great office or casual look.
