Your face is the first thing people see when you see them. Your eyes are tired, full of heavy bags and wrinkles. The lack of care you have given your life and skin is now showing in an astonishing way.
Bad skin care can results in acne, pimples, many skin disorders & diseases, excessive wrinkles, dryness & roughness of the skin, lack of moisture, skin discoloration and severe aging at an early age. Caring for your skin at an early age can prevent many of these problems or completely eliminate them.
Ever since I was a little girl I always remember seeing my mother scrub and moisturize her face & body. She couldn't afford expensive creams or moisturizers but a jar of Vaseline at a price of $1.00 at the discount store and jar of cocoa butter for $1.00 was all she needed to stay looking young. Every time she washed her face she would dab a bit of Vaseline with a dab of cocoa butter all over her face, neck & hands. Today my mother is 74 years old and she has the skin of a 30 year old woman with no wrinkles, no blotches or any damaging cells to her skin.
That great skin regimen that she has used for over 65 years has passed on to me. Today I use Vaseline and cocoa butter for all my skin needs, from removing makeup to covering my face with it before bed. I am now 54 years old and I have no wrinkles, no blotches, no dry skin and a super soft face, neck, hands and feet. Thank you Mom for teaching me how to care for my skin properly.
Caring for your skin does not have to cost a fortune, it only takes common sense by avoiding these things in your life.
Stay away from:
Long time under the sun
Being under a scorching sun will damage the first layer of your skin, exposing those deadly rays to cause sunburn, skin blotches and cancer. Use a sun block every time you go outside and drink a lot of water to keep you from dehydrating.
Smoking
This bad habit will eventually fill your face with wrinkles and damage your organs. It will fill the edges around your mouth with wrinkles and skin deterioration.
Over exfoliation
Do not over scrub your face. Use a mild scrubbing cloth and a mild scrubbing solution like mixing together some honey, olive oil, mayonnaise and an egg yolk. Use this mixture to scrub gently away the dirt and makeup off your face. This will leave your skin super clean and moist...blushing your face with color and livelihood.
Not Washing before bed?
This is one of the worst things you can do. Your skin needs to breath and with your face full of makeup it does not do that. Wash away all the makeup with Vaseline, then wash your face well with my scrubbing recipe listed above...you will reap the rewards later on in your later years.
Eating Junk Food?
This bad habit can destroy your skin and fill it with bad fats (Cholesterol). To reverse this future problem before it happens just change those bad fats to good fats...I just posted a great story about good fats on my other blog....http://nuestracena-vegancuisine.blogspot.com/ read about the good fats you can have and that are beneficial to your health.
Popping Pimples
Popping pimples can leave scars, holes and dents on your face forever. These holes, dents and scars will never disappear. To clean your skin from this annoying disorder try to find a good pimple cleanser or seek also a dermatologist for help. DO NOT pop those nasty critters, care properly for your skin...it will show later on and avoid high fats foods
Staying up late?
Not having the right amount of sleep can eventually show in your face. Tired eyes, bulging eye lids, red eyes, and wrinkles. Avoid staying up late as much as you can. If you do you will feel and look refreshed and alive...beautiful.
Using dirty makeup brushes
Do not use makeup brushes when they are dirty. These brushes full of makeup and dead skin cells create bacteria and can promote many allergies. Wash your brushes on a weekly bases or in soap and water and discard them if you can after every use. Keeping your brushes clean and caring for your skin properly will prevent you from spending a fortune on repairing the damage that has been made throughout the years.
