Swimming Pool Hair Maintance

The photo above shows how a healthy strand of hair should look. This is a strand of hair under the microscope. Each layer of the cuticle is perfectly attached to the cortex strand, flat and smooth.

Instant conditioners and hot oil treatments brings out the luster and shine in hair. Nice healthy hair requires good name brand products and good care in these hot sunny days. Trim the hair ends every 6 weeks to keep it looking healthy.

If the hair is not cared for properly it will end up like this.

Be careful of the sun and the chlorine water inside the pool you swim. Wear a swim cap to prevent dry, damaged and green hair ...a result of too much chlorine.

If you are a devoted swimmer shampoo your hair with shampoo and baking soda twice to remove the chlorine from your hair after each swim. Then use a good instant conditioner to nourish the hair to restore some shine back into the hair.
