Man Fashion Tips: Buying clothes for your plus size girlfriend

If you guys are thinking of getting your ladies great plus size fashion this Christmas, but don’t know where to start, then don’t worry because help is at hand. Here’s your guide to keeping it simple this festive season.

Size is everything!

First things first, you need to know her size before you take to the shops. Some women have one size for the top and another for the bottom, so subtly try asking her for these. There’s no point going to the store without her measurements and there’s nothing worse than coming back with an outfit too small, or heaven forbid, too big!



Keep them figure-hugging and curvalious!

If you’re thinking of buying your Missus a dress this winter or one of those funky, in-trend Christmas jumpers, then make sure you keep her fabulous curves in mind. Buy a dress that nips in at the waist and why not go that bit further and get a glamorous belt –she’ll love you for being thoughtful.

One thing that every girl loves!

Shoes! A safe bet, no matter what her size or shape. If you buy her a pair of shiny sparkly heels, then you can’t wrong. Note, this doesn’t include slippers!

Man Fashion: Common Silly Mistakes to Avoid in Mens Fashion

Some of us always been classified as special group of human being that are less fashion conscious by our opposite sex (except minority). Whether we like this statement or not, we do find some of the silly fashion mistakes that made by most of the men on the street. So we thought like share out just few with some of the readers here.

Novelty Tie? Come on, Pianos or guitars should never be depicted on a tie. We know Christmas is at the corner, but try to avoid anything with festive tag on to it.



Watch out for trousers! never be too short or too long. Rule of thumb is to rest hemlines of trousers on the laces of your shoes.



Do you still notice some suit with label on sleeve? Remove this unecessary label from the blazer of your suit immediately. We are not full models for fashion designers, we should be judge by the look and style, not by the brand! :)

Dandruff...Causes & Treatment

Throughout my 34 years of studying and working with many types of hair, I have learned very well the disorders and diseases that affect the human hair. I have learned that hair diseases are not to be treated in a hair salon and only a few hair disorders can be treated by a hair stylist.

Today I will be talking about Dandruff, its affects and its treatment.

Dandruff consists of small white scales that usually appear on the scalp and hair. It is also known by the medical term of "Pityriasis."

A direct cause of dandruff is the excessive shedding of the epithelial cell. Instead of growing to the surface and falling off, the horny scales accumulate on the scalp.

Indirect or associated causes of dandruff are a sluggish condition of the scalp occasioned condition by poor circulation, infections, injury, lack of nerve stimulation, improper diet, and uncleanliness. Contributing causes are the use of strong shampoos and insufficient rinsing of the hair after a shampoo and long neglected, excessive dandruff can lead to baldness.

The two principle types of dandruff:

1. Pityriasis Capitis Simplex (dry dandruff)

This type is characterized by an itchy scalp and small white scales, which are usually attached in masses to the scalp, or scattered loosely in the hair. Occasionally, they are so profuse that they fall to the shoulders. Dry dandruff is often the results of a sluggish scalp caused by poor circulation, lack of nerve stimulation, improper diet, emotional and glandular disturbance, or uncleanliness.

Treatment for this type of dandruff:

Frequent scalp treatments, use of mild shampoos, regular scalp massages, daily use of anti-septic scalp lotions, and applications of scalp ointments may help correct this condition.

2. Pityriasis Steatoides (greasy or waxy type of dandruff):

This type of dandruff is a scaly condition of the epidermis. The scales become mixed with sebum, causing them to stick to the scalp in patches. The associated itchiness causes the person to scratch the scalp. If the greasy scales are torn off, bleeding or oozing of sebum may follow. Medical treatment is advised.

Summary:

The nature of dandruff is not clearly defined by medical authorities. It is generally believed to be infectious origin. Some authorities hold that it is due to a specific microbe. However, from the cosmetologist's point of view, both forms of dandruff are to be considered contagious and may be spread by use of common brushes, combs, and other hair articles. Therefore, the cosmetologist must take the necessary precautions to sanitize everything that comes into contact with a client.

Oh, the Oxford. Being a girl who loves heels I still can't resist this classic shoe by Miu Miu.  Recently, I saw a girl wearing the black ones with black skinny jeans and a patent Givenchy bag and she looked so chic.  Although, if I had to choose I think I would get the nude pair.

I've always admired Rachel Bilson's carefree LA style.  This outfit is perfect for those cold November days and since I'm on a bit of a scarf kick I'm really into her Ferragamo leopard-print scarf...so adorable! But of course, I also can't take my eyes off that Chanel chain strap bag.
