It's kind of crazy that before yesterday, I've lived in LA nearly my whole life and have never been to the
Griffith Observatory. Matt and I decided to check it out around 6:30pm to catch the sunset. Since the parking lot was full, we had to park at the bottom and do a bit of a hike to get to the top of the hill but the view was totally worth it. There's also a huge telescope you can look at to see the moon up close which isn't something you get to do everyday. After all the walking, we got some dinner at
Alcove Cafe in Los Feliz... a bit crowded but the onion rings are to die for!
